Gandhinagar: The Gujarat High Court Arbitration Centre (GHAC) and the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA) will jointly organise a two-day conference from Feb 28 on the theme, “Institutional Arbitration at a Crossroads: Challenges and the Way Forward”, with a view to promoting alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.An official govt statement said the conference was intended to highlight the advantages of institutional arbitration by creating awareness among stakeholders, trade and industry users, and professionals. The deliberations will also focus on the evolving concepts of Mediation-Arbitration (Med-Arb) and Arbitration Mediation (Arb-Med), the statement added.
The registration form will be available from Feb 9 on the official websites of the Gujarat high court, the Gujarat High Court Arbitration Centre, and the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority.
