62-year-old man dies by suicide at his office in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: A 62-year-old man died by suicide at his office in Sector 32 on Monday afternoon.The deceased, Ajay Bansal, was unwell for the past few years and suffered from knee and kidney-related ailments. He came to his office around 10am, and the incident took place around 12.30pm. According to the police, a staff member found him hanging when he went to check on him and alerted his family members. His daughter and son-in-law rushed to the spot and took him to Artemis Hospital in Wazirabad village, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.An officer said the case appeared to be a clear instance of suicide and no foul play was suspected at this stage. Police added that Bansal was under stress due to prolonged health issues.In another case, a 30-year-old woman died after jumping from the 20th floor of a residential society in Sector 52 on Tuesday evening. Police said the incident appeared to be a case of suicide.The deceased, Sandhya, a native of Jharkhand, worked as a domestic help and stayed in a flat at BPTP Terra society. The flat belongs to Ankur, who works in Ambala with his brother-in-law.
