Pune land deal: Action against Parth co if dues not cleared by Feb 10

Pune: The state registration department ruled out a waiver of stamp duty and would initiate coercive recovery proceedings against Amadea Enterprises LLP if it fails to clear by Feb 10 the pending dues related to a land registration in Pune’s Mundhwa, senior officials said on Tuesday.“There is no question of a waiver. The order passed by the department is final and binding. If the amount is not paid within the stipulated time, forceful recovery action will be taken,” a senior registration department official told TOI. Officials said the recovery measures will include attachment and auction of the firm’s movable and immovable properties, as stipulated under Maharashtra Stamp Act. Amadea Enterprises LLP—in which Parth Pawar, son of late deputy CM Ajit Pawar, and Digvijay Patil are partners—is required to pay a stamp duty shortfall of Rs 21 crore for the sale deed executed in May 2025. In addition, a statutory penalty calculated at 1% per month works out to Rs 21 lakh per month, amounting to Rs 1.47 crore for seven months up to Nov 2025. Put together, the total dues come to Rs 22.47 crore, officials said. They said the dues will further go up since the penalty for Dec and Jan is yet to be taken into account. In Nov 2025, the department issued a demand notice and granted the firm a 60-day window from Dec 10 to pay the dues. Officials said the department’s stand follows its final order rejecting Amadea’s plea seeking exemption from the stamp duty liability and reiterated that the full deficit amount, along with penalties, must be paid.
