Lucknow: Lucknow Police on Monday arrested four people who were planning to sell 40 quintals of stolen iron rods.The arrested accused were identified as Mewalal Yadav (53), Akhilesh Kumar (28), Deepak Yadav (36) and Jaideep Yadav (26), all residents of Sheikhpur village in Unnao district.
Additional DCP, North Zone, Rishabh Runwal said that during the investigation, police found that the accused planned to transport the stolen iron rods to Sitapur district, where they intended to sell the consignment to buyers dealing in construction material.
