Ahmedabad: IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) officials on Tuesday signed an MoU with officials of the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, for a three-year partnership for academic collaboration, student mobility, and research partnership.Under the arrangement, BTech students at SVNIT can change their programmes to a dual-degree BTech-MTech, where the MTech study will take place at IIT-Gn.
“SVNIT students can also join IIT-Gn’s summer research internship programme (SRIP), while IIT-Gn students can pursue research internships at SVNIT,” said an official, adding that it will also entail research collaboration for faculty.
