Kanpur: The body of a police constable was found on a railway track near Tilauchi station in Kanpur Dehat on Monday afternoon, triggering an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Police who reached the spot identified the deceased as Raghavendra Singh Sengar (40), a resident of the Tilauchi police station area under Gajner in Kanpur Dehat. Police outpost in-charge Kuldeep Singh Tomar conducted a preliminary investigation. According to relatives, Raghavendra was posted as a constable in Lalitpur and was currently serving with Dial 112. He had come home on leave at the time of the incident.SHO Janardan Pratap Singh said police are probing whether the death was accidental or a case of suicide.
