The Central Board of Secondary Education has modified the examination dates for the February 2026 series of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. As per the latest public notice, the CTET exam will be held over two days instead of one due to a substantial increase in the number of candidates registered for the test. The board has stated that the 21st series of CTET that was initially supposed to be on February 8, 2026, will now be conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026. The reason for this change is to allow the exam centers around the country to be better prepared for the smooth conduct of the exam.Revised CTET Exam DatesThe CBSE has issued a revised notice in which it is mentioned that the CTET exam will be held in two sessions daily running both Paper I and Paper II. The exam will be conducted in 140 cities all over the country. Candidates have been asked to verify their admit cards for the date, paper, and timing allocated to them.
The CBSE has requested that candidates get to their examination centers at least one hour before the commencement of the examination because no candidate will be permitted inside the examination center once the examination has started.
