The Bihar Technical Service Commission has reopened the application process for Pump Operator Recruitment 2025, giving a second chance to eligible ITI-passed candidates in Bihar. The commission has taken this step to give candidates a chance to apply for the selection process for government jobs in the technical services category.According to the official notification, online applications are being accepted from January 31, 2026, and will remain open until February 8, 2026, which is also the final date for examination fee submission. The commission has stated that the examination schedule will be notified separately, and admit cards will be issued prior to the test.Application fees and payment methodsThe application fee for the Pump Operator recruitment has been fixed at Rs. 100 for all categories. This uniform fee applies to General, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women candidates across categories. Payment can be made through e-challan, debit card, credit card, or net banking using the online application portal.Age limits and eligibility criteriaCandidate age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. The minimum age requirement is 18 years. The upper age limit has been set at 37 years for men and 40 years for women, with additional relaxation applicable to reserved categories in accordance with government rules. Applicants must have passed the 10th standard and completed an ITI course in Machinist or Fitter trade.Vacancy distribution and selection detailsA total of 191 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. The category-wise distribution includes 77 posts for the General category, 19 for Economically Weaker Sections, 33 for Extremely Backward Classes, 23 for Backward Classes, six for Backward Class women, 31 for Scheduled Castes, and two for Scheduled Tribes. Candidates are advised to consult the official advertisement for complete selection-related information.Application procedure for candidatesBefore applying, candidates are advised to carefully read the notification and be ready with all the documents, such as educational documents, identity proof, photograph, and signature. The candidates are required to check the preview before finally submitting the application form, complete the payment of the fee, and take a printout of the application form for future use.
