Pune: Chandrakala Dnyanoba Vavhal (75) of Indira Vasahat on Aundh Road died, while her friend, Prabhavati Bhosale (74), suffered injuries after a PMPML bus hit them on Aundh Road around 9.15pm on Friday.The Chatushrungi police said the two women went to Shivajinagar and returned to Aundh Road in a PMPML bus. They alighted at the bus stop and decided to cross the road when another PMPML bus came from behind and hit them.“They started crossing the road when the PMPML bus driver hit them. The women were housewives and went to meet someone,” police said.The Chatushrungi police registered a case against the PMPML bus driver on Saturday morning.
