Vadodara: Sayajigunj police conducted a check at MM Mehta Hall of the MS University (MSU) boys’ hostel on Friday night and seized empty liquor bottles and other material from a room.Police said they found around 25 empty bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), with one bottle containing residual liquor. The raid was carried out in the presence of hostel officials and security personnel.Besides the bottles, police also found several empty cigarette packets in the room. The room occupant claimed the items did not belong to him and were left by someone else.Following the police action, MSU officials held a meeting on Saturday. The hostel’s disciplinary committee will now probe the matter.
