Jaipur: Team Jaipur will clash with V Polo in the final of the KogniVera Polo Cup (8-goal) at the Rajasthan Polo Club ground here on Sunday.In the semi-finals played on Saturday, V Polo beat Team Jindal Bedla 9-7 at the PPC Ground, while Team Jaipur overcame the late fightback from Optiemus Achievers to post a nail-biting 8-7 win at the RPC Ground.
Santiago Marambio delivered an outstanding performance for V Polo, scoring 6 goals. Angad Kallan and Salim Azmi contributed 2 goals each. Vivan Mehta was also part of the team.Siddhant Sharma fought hard for Jindal Bedla with 5 goals, while Simran Shergill struck a couple of goals. Himmat Singh Bedla and Mahesh Singh were part of the side.Padmanabh Singh led from the front to propel Team Jaipur to a hard-fought win over Optiemus Achievers. Both Padmanabh and Lance Watson slammed 4 goals. Mirza Mohammed Baig and Bhawani Singh Kalvi offered good support.For Optiemus Achievers, experienced Shamsheer Ali, Aryamaan Singh, Daniel Otamendi and Dhruvpal Godara gave their best but could not stop rampaging Team Jaipur.The final of the KogniVera Polo Cup will be played at the RPC Ground at 3.30 pm on Sunday, informed Kamlesh Sharma, Managing Director and CEO, KogniVera IT Solutions Pvt Ltd.
