Khagaria: Additional district and sessions judge (ADJ-II), Khagaria, Shailendra Kumar on Saturday sentenced Munna Yadav and his brother Dhananjay Yadav, both residents of Govindpur village under Maheshkhunt police station in Khagaria district, to five years of rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping a minor girl from the same village on Nov 14, 2009, with the intention of marrying her. According to additional public prosecutor Naresh Das, the court also imposed a fine of Rs5,000 on each, failing which they will have to undergo an additional three months of imprisonment.
