Lucknow: The KD Singh ‘Babu’ Society will host the 36th All-India KD Singh ‘Babu’ Sub-Junior Boys (U-14) Prize Money Hockey Tournament from Feb 2 to 11 at the Padma Shri Mohd Shahid Stadium. Olympic gold medallist (1980) and Arjuna Awardee Mervyn Fernandes will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.The tournament, which will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis, carries total prize money of Rs 5 lakh. The winners will receive Rs 2 lakh, while the runners-up will get Rs 1.5 lakh.
