Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court Friday directed Neerja Modi School to seek statutory remedy from the CBSE rules against the cancellation of its affiliation and submit a detailed representation to the board within one week.A single-judge bench of Justice Bipin Kumar Gupta ordered the CBSE to consider and decide the representation expeditiously, preferably within three weeks, strictly in accordance with law. The court also ordered that no student should be shifted from the school till March 31 during the pendency of the representation proceedings. The court clarified it was not interfering with CBSE’s order to cancel the affiliation, and said the school would not get any substantive relief merely on the basis of the present proceedings.
