Patna: Two senior IPS officers of the Bihar cadre, IG Daljit Singh and DIG Rajiv Mishra, were sent on central deputation to the Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), respectively. Daljit Singh, a 2007-batch IPS officer, will join BSF as Inspector General, while Rajiv Mishra, a 2010-batch IPS officer, will join CISF as Deputy Inspector General (DIG). A notification in this regard was issued by the home department on Friday. Daljit Singh is currently serving as IG in the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and will take charge as IG in BSF. Rajiv Mishra is presently posted as DIG in the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and will join CISF as DIG.
