What is goat rearing scheme?

The Uttar Pradesh government is encouraging farmers to do animal husbandry under the Goat Rearing Scheme. Under this scheme, farmers who want to do animal husbandry are provided a subsidy of up to 50% of the total cost on setting up a goat unit. Apart from this, UP also provides a loan of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh under Bakri Palan Yojana 2024.

The government believes that more profit can be earned by doing animal husbandry business in the state. 7. In this way, you can earn a profit of up to ₹300000 in a year by keeping 10 goats.
