But today, Ashish posted on his Instagram story to give fans a key update, announcing the episode won’t arrive as scheduled.In an emotional note, Ashish opened up about wanting to stay honest with fans, knowing their constant support and understanding. He revealed that Chapter 5 had many surprises lined up, but a sudden problem flipped everything. A hard drive crash wiped out almost 20% of the VFX shots, erasing six months of nonstop effort from the whole team.

Calling it a tense and scary moment, Ashish told fans that the team is working to fix the problem and find a way forward. The screenplay has been co-written by Grishim Nawanii, and Ritesh Sadhwani comes on board as the line producer. ‘Ekaki’ premiered its first episode on November 27, 2025.
