Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana govt on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of six senior IAS and IRPS officers, with immediate effect.Sudhir Rajpal has been posted as additional chief secretary of home, jails, criminal investigation and administration of justice. He has also been assigned additional charge of additional chief secretary (environment, forests and wildlife). The posting orders were issued by chief secretary Anurag Rastogi.Sumita Misra has been appointed additional chief secretary and financial commissioner, revenue (FCR), and disaster management department. As of now, she was working on this post as link officer for a year. The post of FCR is considered the senior-most position in state bureaucracy after chief secretary.She will also hold the charge of additional chief secretary (health and family welfare, medical education and research, and Ayush), against a vacant post. She takes over these responsibilities after the relieving of Sudhir Rajpal from the said charges.Arun Kumar Gupta has been appointed principal secretary to the chief minister, Haryana, along with the additional charge of additional chief secretary (finance and planning). The appointment in the finance department has been done just before the budget.Saket Kumar has been posted as commissioner and secretary (urban local bodies), while continuing as member secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board, in addition to his present duties.In another key change, Ram Kumar Singh has been appointed special secretary (revenue and disaster management), besides being named managing director and CEO of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.Vinay Kumar, IRPS, has been posted as MC commissioner of Panchkula, along with the additional charge of district municipal commissioner, Panchkula, and officer on special duty, Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
