KUALA LUMPUR: Elridge Energy Holdings Bhd is assessing a collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Green Stream LLC in a bid to explore new international markets for its biomass and renewable energy solutions.
“The evaluation will focus on identifying renewable energy solutions that support energy diversification and sustainability objectives, while remaining commercially viable within the Saudi market,” it said in a statement.
Elridge Energy CEO Oliver Yeo said the MOU represents an early step in assesssing opportunities beyond the company’s existing markets.
“Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East present an emerging landscape for renewable energy development, and this collaboration allows us to better understand market requirements and execution considerations on the ground.”
Elridge recently participated in IFAT Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, a dedicated event for waste, water and environmental technologies, where the group engaged with regional stakeholders to better understand regulatory frameworks, project requirements and demand dynamics for environmental and renewable energy solutions.
