Patna: A 18-year-old youth died by suicide at Manpur village under Giriyak police station area of Nalanda district on Tuesday night. Sameer was sleeping on the roof with his brother Sachin when he got up to drink water. When he did not return, Sachin went to look for him and found him hanging from the ceiling fan in a room. The family members rushed Sameer to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Giriyak SHO Srikant Kumar said, “The police have registered an unnatural death case and handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem. The reason behind the suicide is not clear, and the family members are not willing to talk about it. Further investigation is goingon.”
