JDA allots land for new metro line, govt school

Jaipur: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) held a meeting of its land and property disposal committee Tuesday, during which several key proposals related to land allotment were approved. The committee approved use of 7,700 square metres of land for Jaipur Metro Phase-1C, which will run from Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar via Galta Gate.As part of Metro Phase-1C alignment, forest dept land will be utilised, and in exchange, equivalent land of JDA will be allotted to the forest dept. Under this arrangement, 2.01 hectares of land in Daulatpura revenue village, Amer tehsil, will be allotted.

The committee also approved 2,000 sq metres of land for a govt primary school building in a Chaksu village. tnn
