Pune: MES Dnyan Mandir, Kalamboli, emerged as champions of the ‘MES Kreeda Karandak 2026′, a state-level inter-school sports competition organised by the Maharashtra Education Society’s Kridavardhini and Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School, Kothrud. The school also won the rolling trophy of the tournament’s 14th edition. The 3-day residential sports meet for primary school students was held at Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School. The valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony took place on Sunday, with international women’s cricketer Tejal Hasabnis as the chief guest. MES vice-president Pradeep Naik presided over the event. TNN
