Pune: A network of point-of-sales persons is being established to be deployed across smaller cities and rural areas to offer insurance choices at the doorstep of customers. The initiative by OneCircle Insurance Brokers Private Limited will initially focus on the renewal of truck and car insurance, a segment where insurance penetration can be further enhanced due to the rapidly increasing vehicle population. The startup, which acts as a direct broker for life and general insurance, will start its campaign in Pune region. Personnel will be trained and certified to provide advice and solutions on a range of insurance products. “We aim to improve accessibility and affordability of insurance in tiers 2-4 cities and rural India, thereby contributing to the vision of ‘Insurance for All by 2047′. Team OneCircle is committed to expanding insurance penetration through innovation and co-creation of customer-centric, affordable and transparent insurance products and solutions,” said Jaideep Devare, co-founder and executive chairperson, OneCircle Insurance Brokers.
