Vadodara: A man was crushed by a crane in the Makarpura GIDC industrial estate on Tuesday morning. The deceased, Vinoo Bhabhor, was crossing the road when the crane was approaching from behind him. The driver of the crane failed to see Bhabhor and hit him.Bhabhor, who was from Dahod, died on the spot. Locals said there was a lot of congestion at the site due to encroachments and broad footpaths were missing. Makarpura police registered a case of reckless driving causing death against the crane driver.
