Rae Bareli! Under the guidance of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, Joint Magistrate/Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Prafull Kumar Sharma, along with Tehsildar Sadar Pragya Dwivedi, in view of the cold wave and cold, inspected the arrangements of night shelter and bonfire at Hospital Square at midnight. Thereafter, took a walk and inspected the Civil Line Over Bridge and Indira Nagar Over Bridge to see if anyone was sleeping in the open in the cold, but no such person was found during the inspection.
The Sub-District Magistrate directed all the R.I./Lekhpal of the Tehsil that in view of the cold wave, they should roam in their respective areas at night and make arrangements for lighting bonfires at all the designated points, and also ensure that no person sleeps in the open; if any such person is found anywhere, he should be shifted to the nearby night shelter.
