Bettiah: Two persons were killed and a 12-year-old girl was seriously injured after a tractor rammed into a motorcycle on NH-727 in the Bagaha area of West Champaran district on Friday.The victims were identified as Badri Mian, 55, and Javed Alam, 23, both residents of Gonauli under the Lauriya police station area. The injured girl, Shazia Khatoon, was admitted to a hospital in critical condition. All three were travelling on the same motorcycle from Gonauli to Harnatand when the accident occurred.Bagaha town SHO Shailesh Kumar said the tractor and the motorcycle have been seized. “The tractor driver is being questioned,” he added.Dr S K Aggarwal of the sub-divisional hospital said three people were brought to the hospital following the road accident. “Two of them were declared dead on arrival while the injured girl was referred to the district hospital due to her critical condition,” he added.
