Kanpur: A speeding car went out of control and crashed into a field on Airport Road in Chakeri police station area on Wednesday night, damaging the roadside railing. The driver sustained minor injuries and his companions pulled him out safely.Local residents said that the car was travelling at a very high speed on Wednesday night and the driver lost control at the blind curve on Airport Road.Saad, a local of Sultan Compound in Jajmau, went for a drive with two friends, said police. He was driving the car at the time of the incident. Residents said people often drive in speed and performed stunts on Airport road . Chakeri police station in-charge Ajay Prakash Mishra said, “The car was pulled out of the field with the help of a crane. No loss of life was reported.”
