MoU signed for paperless document execution

Patna: The department of prohibition, excise and registration signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National e-Governance Services Limited to implement digital document execution services. This system enables the issuance of electronic bank guarantees for use as performance security in tenders. Users can pay e-stamp duty for indemnity bonds, loan agreements, and power of attorney documents through the online portal. This change eliminates physical paperwork and manual processing. The platform operates 24/7 and provides real-time transaction data to stakeholders to improve administrative transparency and speed.
