Kanpur: Police have arrested in Kanpur the mastermind of a solver gang which supplied imposters to appear for actual candidates in Uttar Pradesh Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate examination held on Saturday.The kingpin, Rajiv Kumar from Bihar, was nabbed on Tuesday night following the interrogation of an imposter woman candidate, Shikha Kumari from Jharkhand, arrested for appearing in the exam for one Renu Yadav from Fatehpur. The solver gang was busted after Shikha’s fingerprints did not match the records during verification at an exam centre on Saturday.ACP Akanksha Pandey said Kumar brought Shikha to Kanpur to take the exam. Investigators are collecting information about the modus operandi to bust the entire network.
