3 members join Cuttack GSTAT bench

Cuttack: In a significant step towards making the Cuttack bench of Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) operational, three members have formally joined, officials said.They are judicial member Suchismita Misra, technical member (Centre) Ranjan Kumar Sahoo and Ananda Satpathy, technical member (state). The bench was set up to strengthen the appellate mechanism and ensure timely resolution of GST-related disputes.

On their joining, the members were welcomed by GSTAT officials along with officers from the central GST (CGST) and state GST (SGST). Officials said the joining of the members marks a crucial step towards early operationalisation of the Cuttack bench, thereby strengthening the GST dispute-resolution framework. GSTAT was launched on Sept 24, 2025.
