Bengaluru: A 45-year-old Nigerian national was arrested for the third time on alleged drug peddling charges. The accused, Ernest Onyekachi Ugah, of Munnekollal-Marathahalli, was arrested after police seized 2.5kg of MDMA and 300 ecstasy tablets worth Rs 5 crore from him.Police records show the accused was arrested last year by Kadugodi and Hennur police on similar drug peddling charges. “In both cases, Ugah was handed over to judicial custody at Bengaluru Central Prison. After coming out on bail, Ugah again indulged in drug peddling,” CCB police said.Odisha woodcutters with ganja arrestedGovt railway police have arrested two woodcutters from Odisha and seized 26kg of ganja, worth over Rs 13 lakh, from them. The accused duo travelled on the Prashanti Express (Bhubaneswar to KSR Bengaluru) and deboarded at Yelahanka railway station with the drugs on Jan 17. Acting on a tip-off, railway police seized the ganja and arrested them.
