Mumbai: Three people have been booked by Pelhar police in Nalasopara for allegedly hurting religious sentiments during celebrations after the Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation results were declared on Jan 16.The FIR was registered late Monday after Shivkumar Pandey, of an organisation Rashtrapratham, filed a complaint at Pelhar police station. One of the suspects apologised after a video went viral. No arrests have been made and police have issued notices for further inquiry.
