Patna: Hundreds of youths, students, social workers, and concerned citizens took to the streets of Patna during the ‘Aakrosh March’ organised by Nari Suraksha Sena (NSS). The march began at Dak Bungalow Chowk and culminated at JP Golambar, expressing deep anguish and fury over the mysterious death of a NEET aspirant.Participants made it clear that this was not just the killing of 1 student, but a failure of women’s safety and student security across the state. They warned that unless the perpetrators faced swift and severe punishment, such crimes would only deepen fear and insecurity in society. After reaching the endpoint, the organisation submitted a set of strong demands to the administration. These included handing over the case to the CBI for a fair and time-bound investigation, the immediate arrest of all accused followed by a trial in a fast-track court, adequate compensation along with security and legal support for the victim’s grieving family, and urgent improvements in safety measures for girl students in colleges and hostels through the installation of CCTV cameras, dedicated women’s helplines, and regular monitoring.National President Rita Singh called for the swift arrest of the criminals and the dismissal of the concerned Station House Officer.
