Lucknow: In a first, Lucknow University (LU) will witness a combined parade by all three wings of the National Cadet Corps — Army, Naval and Air — on Jan 26 to mark Republic Day. Around 150 NCC cadets will participate in the ceremonial parade, showcasing discipline, unity and military training in a first tri-service display on the university campus.
Earlier, Republic Day parades at LU featured only the Army and Naval wings. The parade will feature cadets from the 63rd and 64th UP Army battalions, the 3rd naval wing, and the 5th air wing squadron.NCC coordinator of LU, Rajneesh Yadav said, “This tri-service NCC parade reflects the discipline, coordination and patriotism of our cadets.”
