Lucknow: Despite an FIR against party MP and UP in-charge Sanjay Singh, accusing him of sharing artificial intelligence generated videos of the destruction at Varanasi’s Manikarnika Ghat, Aam Aadmi Party members will undertake a major protest against the BJP-led state govt at all district headquarters on Tuesday.The protest has been called against a redevelopment project being implemented at the ghat, during which, it has been alleged, the temples and idols were broken down. Singh, who is leading a padyatra in the Kashi pranth, will not be participating in the protest. “Govt has filed an FIR against me for posting videos on the destruction at the Manikarnika Ghat but the locals who shot those videos have come out and confirmed that they took them. We now demand that FIRs be filed against all those responsible for the destruction of the ghat,” he said. tnn
