Patna: The state govt on Monday launched new ‘Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasaan’ programme with a view to giving responsive good administration to the people leveraging new technology and involving all the departments two days a week.As envisioned by CM Nitish Kumar, the meetings in this regard would be organised at one place in every department, involving administrative representatives from the department and the solution-seeking people. They would be held at the state and district headquarters twice a week—on Monday and Friday. The model meeting in this connection was held at the state headquarters of the home-police department at Patel Bhavan on Monday.The new initiative is part of the Saat Nishchay-3 programme of the govt as envisioned by the CM, a state home department communique said, adding: “The programme involves giving a responsive hearing to the complainants on their problems, especially related to the administrative matters, and the quick disposal of the issue with a solution to it would also be done.”Under the programme, a meeting would be held between the officials from across the department and people who turn up at the headquarters concerned for the resolution of their grievances at the administration-level. For this, a new web portal, too, has been developed—sss.bihar.gov.in.
