Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a new residential plot scheme near the upcoming Noida International Airport. It is expected to be launched in Jan.Under the scheme, the Authority will offer 973 residential plots in sizes 162, 183, 184, 200, 223 and 290 sqm. The plots will be located in Sectors 15C, 18 and 24A, all situated close to the airport, which is expected to become operational soon.There are 476 plots of 162 sqm size, 4 plots of 183 sqm, 4 plots of 184 sqm, 481 plots of 200 sqm, 6 plots of 223 sqm and 2 plots of 290 sqm in this scheme.A total of 17.5% plots have been reserved for the farmers whose land has been acquired and 5% plots are reserved for those who have functional industrial units in the Yamuna City area and the rest 77.5 % of the plots are for the general public.The scheme will also include reservations for farmers and industrialists who already own industrial plots in Yamuna City and have made their units operational.Authority’s CEO RK Singh said they are in the process of securing registration from the UP real estate regulatory authority, which is mandatory before launching any housing scheme.Applicants will be required to deposit 10 percent of the plot cost as registration money to participate in the lucky draw, which will determine the successful allottees. YEIDA will provide a one-month window for registrations, after which allotment letters will be issued and possession will be offered.With the airport set to boost connectivity, the surrounding areas are expected to witness a surge in commercial activity, job opportunities, and population influx.
