Man threatens family with knife over road rage in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: A 25-year-old man was arrested Sunday on charges of threatening a car-borne family at knifepoint following a road rage incident at Whitefield.The alleged offence, recorded on the car’s dashcam near Nexus Shantiniketan Mall Friday evening, was uploaded on social media.
The accused has been identified as Sayed Arbaz Khan, a resident of KG Halli, who works as an assistant at a fish shop in RT Nagar. Police records show that Khan had been arrested in four separate cases, including preparation for dacoity, and a housebreak.The video shows the man in the car (unseen) asking a two-wheeler rider (Khan) why he was abusing him. In response, the rider, who had stopped a little ahead, walked up to the car, pulled something from his pocket, and shouted, “Don’t make noise. You will die,” before walking away. The man in the car was then heard saying, “What is this? He pulls out a knife!”
