6 injured in Madhepura road accident | Patna News

Madhepura: Six people were critically injured when the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction in Madhepura district on Sunday morning.

The incident took place on Murliganj-Behariganj section of the state highway 91 near Rajni village under Murliganj police station limits in the district.The injured persons are Ramesh Chaudhary (40), Shambhu Chaudhary (35), Ramvilash Mehta (34), Aditya Kumar (10), Satyam Kumar (13) and Ujjal Kumar (9). They are under treatment at Madhepura medical college and hospital. Two woman occupants remained unhurt in the incident.

They appeared very shocked by the accident.According to police, eight people, all residents of Tintoliya village under Pratapganj police station of Supaul district, were on the way to Mahadeopur Ghat to take holly dip in the Ganga when six of the car occupants injured in the incident.
