Noida: A 32-year-old man died and his friend (30) was critically injured after their motorcycle allegedly hit a pole in Badalpur, just 25 metres from a tubewell in a farm where they allegedly consumed liquor and were returning home, around 7pm.According to police, upon finding Krishna Singh and Sundar Singh lying injured, locals took them to a hospital. However, Krishna was declared dead on arrival and Sundar was admitted to the ICU for further treatment.Pawan Kumar, ACP 2 of Central Noida, said that around 11.30pm, they received information from the deceased’s family about the incident, alleging that someone killed their son. He said a team immediately reached the hospital and sent the body for an autopsy. The reports are awaited. Police suspect the two met with an accident when their motorcycle hit a pole near a tubewell where they had consumed liquor. Several liquor bottles and chips packets were also found at the tubewell. The impact of the collision was such that some portions of the pole were also broken. However, Krishna’s family alleged foul play and said they both argued while drinking, and Sundar killed Krishna; however, a formal complaint was not lodged. Regarding the family’s allegations, the ACP stated that a forensic team reached the spot and gathered evidence.
