Mumbai: The JJ Marg police booked two men for allegedly beating up a 10-year-old boy for taking a kite away with him. The matter came to light when a neighbour informed to the boy’s mother, a garlic seller, about it.

The child told his mother that on Jan 14, the shopkeeper and his employees had tied his hands, removed his shirt and beat him up. Another man had allegedly given burn injuries on some parts of the boy’s body with a lighter.
