SSB provides meals to stranded passengers

Madhubani: The 48th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Jaynagar provided meals to hundreds of stranded passengers from Nepali at Jaynagar railway station on Jan 16 after overcrowding left many without travel options. A special train to Dwarka was fully booked, forcing several passengers to spend the night at the station. SSB personnel managed the crowd and distributed meals as part of their humanitarian duty. Commandant Govind Singh Bhandari said the force is committed to serving people in distress, reflecting its motto of service and brotherhood. The gesture was widely appreciated by Nepali citizens.
