Jalandhar: A 26-year-old man was shot dead in a village near Adampur on Friday.Police said the victim, Kesar Singh Dhami, was travelling on a motorcycle with two friends when another bike intercepted them near Baba Bhag Singh University in Khiala village. The attackers allegedly hit their motorcycle to stop it, causing the trio to lose balance. One of the men on the other bike then fired shots at Dhami, hitting him on the head.
Police later identified the shooter as Jassa Daroli. He was accompanied by Chandan Pandit, who was riding the motorcycle.
