Patna: A total of 71 students appearing in the 2026 Intermediate examinations across arts, science and commerce streams were expelled for using unfair means. Of them, Nawada district reported the highest number with 27 expulsions. In addition, 14 impersonators were arrested from various exam centres across the state.The Intermediate examinations conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) began on February 2 at 1,762 centres and concluded peacefully on Friday. Over 13 lakh students had applied for the exams this year, according to BSEB sources.
