Navi Mumbai: Work at seven construction sites in the Turbhe division was stopped, and action was taken against two developers in Ghansoli after inspections found non-implementation of standard operating procedures on air and noise pollution, officials from Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation said. The action followed directions from municipal commissioner Kailas Shinde to implement effective air pollution prevention measures and to conduct strict inspections at all construction sites in the department office area to ensure work was carried out as per standard procedures. In Ghansoli, the property of Gami & Krishna Enterprises in Sector 3 was sealed.
