Gurgaon: Three men lost their lives, while another was seriously injured, in three separate road accidents in the Kherki Daula area on Friday. All the vehicles involved fled the spot, police said.In the first incident, an unidentified vehicle rammed a motorcycle from behind near Silvertrack Hospital in Sector 87 at around 6.30pm. Two youths riding the bike sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Sector 10, where one of them was declared dead.The deceased, Abhishek Chauhan, a resident of Auraiya district of UP, worked as a housekeeping staff at a hotel in Sector 24 and lived in a rented house in S Block of the same sector with his brother, Anuj. In his complaint, Anuj told police that Abhishek went to Manesar on Friday to meet his friend Govind. The two were riding a bike for some work when a vehicle hit them from behind near Silvertrack Hospital. Abhishek succumbed to his injuries, while Govind was admitted to a hospital with serious injuries. In another incident on Friday evening, an unidentified vehicle hit a youth who was walking near the Kherki Daula underpass. Passersby rushed the injured man to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The deceased is yet to be identified, as no documents were found on him. The body was kept in the mortuary, police said.In the third case, a 25-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by a water tanker on the highway service road near Kherki Daula village at around 8pm. The deceased, a resident of Pathankot in Punjab, worked in a private company and lived in a rented house near Kherki Daula.Police registered cases under relevant sections of rash driving and causing death due to negligence at Kherki Daula police station.
