Hyderabad: At least 22 passengers sustained minor injuries after a TGSRTC bus overturned on a narrow culvert near Shyampur village in Adilabad district on Monday morning. There were 30 passengers on board at the time of the accident, and no fatalities were reported.The incident occurred in Utnoor mandal, when the bus, operating from Adilabad to Asifabad, reportedly lost balance while crossing a narrow culvert at Shyampur. The vehicle toppled into a dry stream bed adjacent to the culvert. Police said there was no water in the stream at the time, which helped prevent more serious injuries.The bus, bearing registration number TS20T9369 and attached to the Asifabad depot, overturned on its side. Several occupants sustained bruises and abrasions.Local residents and commuters who witnessed the accident rushed to the scene and assisted in evacuating passengers from the damaged bus. Emergency services were alerted, and the injured were taken to the Govt Hospital, Utnoor, where they received first aid and medical evaluation. An inquiry has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the accident.
