Raipur. Under the guidance of District Panchayat Raipur, an innovative initiative of integrated development has been taken in 20 villages of Arang development block under the Women’s Farmers Empowerment Project (MKSP). Under this scheme, 250–300 families in 4 clusters will be made “Lakhpati Didi” by connecting two or more livelihood activities.
So far, 1400 beneficiaries have been selected in the development block, the cadre working in the village has been done by the CRP. All agriculture related activities will be implemented by the Livelihood Service Center established in each clusters, which will be conducted by a successful entrepreneur Didi. The selected entrepreneur is eligible for interest -free loan from the project.
The following services are being provided to the beneficiaries from the Livelihood Services Center established in the cluster:- Poultry, Animal Husbandry, Kitchen Gardens, Fisheries, Nursery, Bio Resource Center, Animal Health Services, Agricultural Input Cooperation and market availability through FPC.
