Chennai: Two unidentified men robbed a woman of her gold chain by posing as social workers in Tiruvallur district on Tuesday night.According to police, Sujatha lives with her four-year-old differently abled child and her husband at Periyanatham village. On Wednesday, two men visited her introducing themselves as social workers associated with a disability welfare organization. They sought her permission to examine the child. Believing them to be genuine, Sujatha allowed them inside the house.Within moments, the men snatched her gold chain. Arambakkam police registered a case and formed special teams to trace the suspects by scanning CCTV footage in the vicinity.
