15-year-old dies after fight with 3 boys in west Delhi park

New Delhi: A 15-year-old boy died allegedly after a fight with three boys over a cricket match in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Monday evening. The boys have been apprehended.According to police, the teenager was playing cricket at Woodland Park when he got into an argument with a 12-year-old boy, which escalated into a fight. The 12-year-old went home and told his cousins, aged 17 and 13, about the dispute, said police. The three boys allegedly returned to the park in search of the 15-year-old. “Around 7.20pm, the two sides confronted each other again, and a fight broke out. During the scuffle, blows were exchanged and the 15-year-old sustained injuries on his neck and head. He fell unconscious,” an officer said. The boy was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. An FIR was registered and the three children in conflict with the law were apprehended, police said.
